Chapter Seven

How could they, Remy thought to himself.

‘I thought they were good guys. When they landed on Earth they seemed very nice.’ Remy whispered. Lewis must have heard him. Ummm and Too Cool must have heard too.

‘So you HELPED the gorillas?’ Asked Ummm with an angry face and moaning, just like a gorilla.

‘Well, I wouldn't say I did, but I wouldn’t say I didn’t. YOU CAN'T BLAME EVERY THING…’ Yelled Remy.

‘Stop yelling. There’s no need to yell.’ Interrupted Too Cool.

‘ON me’ continued Remy.

‘ We're not.’ Ummm and Too Cool said together.

‘Seriously, you can't blame everything on me.’ Repeated Remy.

‘Let me get this straight. The gorillas are you know…’ Lewis looked around the room. ‘Evil’

Too Cool and Ummm looked at each other and let out a big sigh. I don’t want to repeat it again, thought Too Cool and Ummm.

‘Listen this time. The gorillas are evil. Four words. Simple enough for ya?’ Asked Too Cool.

‘Listen up.’ Lewis whispered looking both ways. ‘What if they are androids?’

‘No, no, no that won’t be true. They’re just gorillas.’ Said Remy.

Too Cool and Ummm looked at each other and said, ‘There may be a chance of the gorillas being a cyborg.’

Remy and Lewis looked at each other. Oh, thought Remy.

‘They wouldn’t be a cyborg! I know them, they wouldn’t be.’ Denied Remy.

‘I kind-of know those gorillas and they didn’t seem like they were cyborg’s.’ Lewis admitted.

‘I have an idea. They wouldn’t have gotten far because they have to go back to my house and that’s quite far away. I bet we can catch up to them if we try and run.’ Remy said. Too Cool and Ummm smiled and looked at Remy. I’m thinking that that’s a good idea, thought Remy.

‘Brilliant!’ Shouted Ummm. Too Cool, Remy and Lewis looked straight at Ummm.

‘Ssshhhh’ Too cool, Remy and Lewis shushed.

‘Sorry’ said Ummm under his breath.

‘Let’s just start looking for them.’ Suggested Lewis. And they started running.

‘Wait, wait.’ Said Too Cool while stopping. ‘The gorillas know us and think that we are going to arrest them. We should come with you but when we see them, we should hide.’

‘ Good idea.’ Remy agreed. They continued running and Too Cool and Ummm started smiling at Remy and Lewis.

‘Why are you smiling?’ Asked Remy to Too Cool.

‘I… I mean, WE are just laughing at…’ Too Cool looked around. ‘That dog over there.’ Too Cool pointed at a dog. They had no time to argue so they just agreed and kept on running. The gorillas were in sight.

‘Hide, hide.’ Directed Remy to Too Cool and Ummm. Too Cool and Ummm hid behind a brick wall.

‘Wait, wait!’ called Remy to the gorillas. The gorillas kept on walking.

‘WAIT, WAIT.’ Called Remy even louder. That time the gorillas heard and looked behind. Lewis stopped. Then Remy stopped and they found them selves staring at Giles and Miranda. Their face looked different, too different. Their face look as if was burnt and a metal, robotic face had replaced it.

‘They are cyborg’s whispered Remy. ‘I can't believe they didn’t tell me.’

Remy looked sad. The gorillas were approaching Remy and Lewis.

‘It’s not what you think it is.’ The gorillas declared. Tears ran down Remy’s cheeks. He was crying. Giles and Miranda went to hug him but Remy refused.

‘Don’t touch me you, you, you freaks!’ Yelled Remy. Miranda and Giles looked shocked.

‘I told you, it’s not what it looks like.’ Said Giles.

‘I trusted you and you said you'd tell me everything!’ sobbed Remy.

‘If you want to know what happened I will tell you!’ Yelled Giles but Remy was running away.

‘You evil cyborg's! I don’t want to talk to you again!’ yelled Remy as he was running away. Lewis was still there shocked and holding his ear because of all the yelling. Giles and Miranda looked at Lewis and then raised their eyebrows, basically telling him to go after him. Lewis ran after Remy and then Too Cool and Ummm followed. They all stopped when they saw Remy crying on a rock. All of them stopped and they still heard footsteps coming towards Remy and the group. Remy looked saw no one. Ummm and Too Cool looked at Remy and looked suspicious. The footsteps stopped.

‘Did anyone else hear those footsteps?’ Asked Remy. Too Cool looked at Ummm suspiciously. Suddenly someone came. He just appeared. Like magic.

‘Hey mate. Who are your friends?’ Asked the guy.

‘Who’s this?’ Asked Remy.

‘This is Agent2256.’ Ummm replied. ‘He’s our friend.’

‘He’s been following us all this time.’ Too Cool added.

‘And I know all of your secrets!’ the guy interrupted. ‘You do realise that if I’m an agent, then these guys are agents. Welcome to AgentU also known as Agent7444 and this is AgentTC also known as Agent6992995.’

‘So, you’re…’ thought Remy.

‘E, e, e, evil?’ Said Agent6992995.

‘Yes exactly what I wanted to say.’ Remy said. ‘So you just wanted to capture the gorillas.’

‘Exactly’

‘The gorillas aren’t evil?’ Remy asked.

‘No, they’re not evil. I can’t believe you fell for that.’ Agent7444 said.

Remy looked shocked. All of that chaos for evil? No, they couldn’t be evil. They looked nice and friendly. Then Too Cool and Ummm grabbed the side of their face and pulled. Remy suddenly found out what they were doing. They were pulling a mask off their face. Then took off their clothes and their wings and they looked like secret agents.

‘You wore a disguise? How could you.’ Remy said. ‘I trusted you!’

‘Well this is my job so I have to and now that I know where the gorillas are, I can capture them. Ha, ha, ha.’ Chuckled Agent6992995.

‘Yeah, what he said.’ Said Ummm. Remy started to cry again. The tears made a small drop on the ground and left his shorts all wet. Agent6992995 and Agent7444 walked away with Agent1380. Remy watched as they walked away. Lewis looked at his watch.

‘Opps! Time to go! Sorry Remy.’ Lewis said as he ran away. Great, I’m left all alone, thought Remy to himself.

‘Hey, what’s up?’ A voice said. Remy looked around and saw that the gorillas were standing in front of him.

‘Oh, hey’ said Remy, sounding as if he was dying. ‘Look, sorry I didn’t listen to them.’

‘It’s OK. Do you want to know why our faces are like this?’ Asked Miranda. Remy nodded.

‘Well, we were coming out of that shop because someone here,’ Pointing to Giles. ‘Needed to go to the bathroom. So we went in but Giles accidentally put it on fire and our faces burnt and then this friendly guy called Agent1380 or something, he did a mini surgery on our faces and it had to be a robotic face.’

‘Wow.’ Remy replied. He looked at the shop he pointed to. It was burnt down just like they said. Then he heard a really loud cough that made me turn around immediately. A guy was stuck under a building that had collapsed.

‘Cough, cough.’ Coughed the guy. Remy, Giles and Miranda ran over to help him.

‘Are you OK?’ Remy asked the man. ‘How did the building collapse?’

‘3 guys (cough) put a bomb under (cough) my desk and I heard (cough) someone say, ‘Agent6992995, let’s run away now.’ And that’s it until the building collapsed and I fainted.

‘Agent6992995’ whispered Remy to Giles and Miranda.
