Welcome to FaBostory – an interactive novel writing project dreamed up by a crazy team of your favourite kiwi authors.
Each week you can pit your writing wits against one of our FaBolous team. If you think you can out-imagine, out-write and out-FaBo the FaBo Team, write your own version of the next exciting chapter and send it in. We double-dare you!
There will be prizes, competitions and ideas stolen. And the best chapter each week will be posted on the FaBostory blog.
How to Join In the Fun
- Step 1. Every Monday (starting July 26), an exciting new chapter of The Visitors will be posted on the FaBostory blog.
- Step 2. If you think you know which of the FaBo team wrote it, you can enter our "Mystery Author" competition and win a mystery prize!
- Step 3. Write your own exciting chapter to follow on. What do YOU think will happen next?
- Step 4. Email your chapter in the body of the email (no attachments) to the Fabo team at fabostory@gmail.com by Friday 5pm each week.
- Step 5. The FaBo team will choose a winning chapter and post it, together with our own thrilling chapter, on Monday morning. The winning chapter will win a FaBolous prize!
- Step 6. Rinse and repeat.

i just wanted to say you are my inspriration and i really want to be like you guys (a writer). And also i won't be in auckland next week so i might not enter. could i possibly be allowed my chapter a little bit late?
